Its time embattled 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk gets some serious help

Brandon Aiyuk keeps sending not-so-subtle hints through social media that he’s done with the 49ers and wants to play for the Commanders.But if you’re the Commanders or 49ers or any other team in the NFL, and you’re using his social media posts as a quasi job resume, are you not asking yourself one very serious question: Is this really someone we want to invest time and money in?Which begs an even bigger question: Is there anyone in Aiyuk’s circle willing to tell him he’s completely sabotaging himself right now? And that he needs to change course? Or get help?Like immediately?And if so, and he’s simply disregarding their advice and going off the beaten path in some poorly planned out quest to leave the 49ers for greener pastures somewhere else, doesn’t that raise an incredible amount of red flags across the NFL?Like, seriously, based on everything that’s gone down with Aiyuk over the last year or so, including the steady stream of weird social media posts he’s made over the last few months, why would any team even think about bringing him into their building?With full understanding that Aiyuk is dealing with some underlying condition or a sinister inner demon, it’s time for anyone who is close to him and cares for him to urge him to seriously consider getting help.Because how he is handling things isn’t just working.In fact, it’s done irreparable harm to a once highly regarded player who seems to have entered some sort of Twilight Zone episode.It’s not just alarming to watch his fall from grace play out; it’s incredibly sad.Clearly, he needs help.
