The Golden State’s most dangerous places to the celebrate the Fourth of July have been revealed in a new study — and one of America’s most glamorous celebrity playgrounds has landed near the top.While the city of Clearlake was ranked the state’s most dangerous city for the holiday, it was the luxe beach enclave of Malibu that may raise the most eyebrows after being ranked at fourth, according to California personal injury firm Maison Law.The firm analyzed 373 cities with populations above 10,000 people across five toxic safety factors — including holiday crash rates, injury death rates, five year crash average, county fire incident rate, and fireworks availability — to rank the most perilous spots in California to celebrate Independence Day.Despite its multi-million dollar oceanfront mansions where the likes of Cher, Leonardo DiCaprio and Lady Gaga own lavish homes, Malibu earned one of the highest danger scores largely due to its alarming crash statistics.
