Subway operator injured when tree slams into moving train as it pulled into Yankee Stadium station

A subway operator was injured Saturday night when a falling tree branch shattered the cab window of a northbound 4 train in the Bronx as it head to Yankee Stadium, partially suspending the line.The incident occurred around 8:26 p.m.about a quarter-mile south of the 161st Street/Yankee Stadium station, according to the MTA. The operator sustained “minor injuries,” while none of the 200 passengers on board were hurt.A rescue train evacuated the passengers to the 149th Street station. 4 train service was suspended between 149th Street and Woodlawn in both directions while transit crews worked to clear the damage, but has been restored since....
