Mets squeeze out extra-inning win over Braves after Devin Williams implosion

ATLANTA — In those rare instances they succeed, the Mets only do things the hard way.The easy way Monday night would have been to ride Juan Soto’s go-ahead homer in the ninth inning to the finish line without extra hassle.Instead, Devin Williams imploded in the bottom of the inning, and it took a 10th-inning hero.
