Illegal immigrant trucker driver admits to role in deadly Ontario crash

An illegal immigrant from India, who entered the United States through the southern border under the Biden Administration, has pleaded guilty to his role in a devastating Southern California freeway crash that left three people dead.Jashanpreet Singh, 21, pleaded guilty to three counts of felony vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence for the October 2025 eight-vehicle pileup on the westbound 10 Freeway in Ontario, according to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office.Prosecutors said Singh, who was on drugs, was driving a semi-truck when traffic ahead slowed, but his rig failed to stop before plowing into seven other vehicles, three additional semi-trucks, two pickup trucks, and two passenger cars, triggering a catastrophic chain-reaction crash.Three people were killed and four others were injured, including Singh and a mechanic who had been helping change a tire along the freeway shoulder, according to the California Highway Patrol.California's top news, sports and entertainment delivered to your inbox every day.
