Dolly Parton's former hideaway in Solvang is on the market.The current owner of the home, Cris Lapp, who is a real estate broker with Black Oak Homes and Mortgages, has placed it up for sale for $1.95 million, and told Noozhawk that he hopes a "mega fan" like him ends up purchasing the property.Originally built in 1920, the coveted property features three distinct homes, including a three-bedroom, two-bathroom front home, a three-bedroom, two-bathroom upper rear unit and a one-bedroom lower unit with a three-quarter bath.Each of the three homes also feature their own enclosed patio space.Parton's former weekend getaway in Solvang is on the market for $1.95 million.(Getty Images; Cris Lapp)DOLLY PARTON SAYS SHE'S 'NOT READY TO DIE YET' WHILE ADDRESSING HEALTH RUMORSParton reportedly purchased the home through Dolly Parton Enterprises in 2004 and used it as her private weekend getaway for 10 years.
Although she hasn't lived there for many years, the home includes many indications the country icon once owned the home.In addition to a stained glass window which spells out "Dolly" and also features butterfly designs, the home also includes a wig-room in the garage, a birdhouse replica of a chapel found in Dollywood, wooden tulips, a miniature windmill and many other decorative features.One of the three homes on the property features a stained-glass window with butterflies and the word Dolly written on it.(Cris Lapp)The "Jolene" singer scared fans last year when she told fans she would need to postpone the concerts in her Las Vegas residency in a September 2025 social media post, due to some "health challenges."Her announcement coupled with her sister pleading with fans on Facebook to pray for the country star, increased fan concern, leading Parton to address just how serious her health concerns were.The home also features a small windmill on the property.
