As I travel across South Carolina, whether I'm meeting with business owners, farmers, veterans or families at community events, I continue to hear the same question: "Congressman, if Republicans keep winning elections, why does it seem so difficult to get anything done in Washington?"It's a fair question, and frankly, it's one Republicans should answer.The American people understand elections, and they understand mandates.

What they don't understand is why Republicans can win the White House and majorities in both chambers of Congress yet still struggle to enact the very agenda they promised the voters.That's not simply a political problem; it’s a governing problem.The American people returned President Donald Trump to the White House with a clear mandate to secure the border, restore fiscal discipline, unleash American energy and put America first.
