MS NOW denies John Fettermans claim network wont invite him on and shares screenshots of appearances

MS NOW has denied Sen.John Fetterman’s claim that the network won’t invite him on, sharing screenshots of four times he appeared on the channel – though his team alleged those appearances were old.The Democratic Pennsylvanian, who has frequently clashed with the far-left of his party over their views on Israel and socialism, told the Washington Examiner: “I hope you can print: ‘MSNBC won’t invite me on,’” using the network’s former name.Fetterman, 56, said he frequently appears on Fox News, CNN, CBS and ABC, adding that he prefers speaking on news networks that “play things straight.”“I don’t know why,” Fetterman said on why he hasn’t been invited back by MS NOW.
“I mean, I’m a committed Democrat.I’m not sure what their editorial issue is with.”He said “it’s really strange” that MS NOW would not invite a Senate Democrat who “votes a 90-something percent line here” on the network’s programs.A spokesperson for MS NOW told The Post that “this claim is inaccurate.”In a social media post Wednesday evening, MS NOW’s public relations team shared four screenshots of times Fetterman recently appeared on the network, speaking with “Morning Joe” hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski as well as anchor Katy Tur.A spokesperson for Fetterman’s office told The Post that the screenshots were old, including two appearances from last year, and that the senator has not appeared on MS NOW since March.“He never said the network banned him or he hasn’t been on, just that they simply stopped sending invites – which is accurate,” a representative for the senator told the Washington Examiner. “Showing old materials because they have nothing new to reference isn’t the mic drop MS NOW thinks it is.”The Washington Examiner said its analysis found Fetterman has appeared on Fox News at least 56 times since the start of the year and been a guest on CNN 13 times over the same period.Fetterman has repeatedly clashed w...
