NYC girl, 16, hits beam during dangerous subway surfing stunt and miraculously survives

A 16-year-old girl struck a beam during a dangerous subway surfing stunt in Queens — and miraculously survived, cops and sources said.The teen was riding on top of the southbound A train pulling into the Broad Channel station around 3:12 p.m.Wednesday when she suddenly rammed into a beam overhead, according to police and law-enforcement sources.Video posted to social media shows the teen laying limp across the roof of the stopped train before multiple firefighters carefully removed her — as stranded commuters looked on and NYPD cops attempted to keep order.The teen was conscious and alert and was taken to the Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where she was treated for a broken femur and listed in stable condition.“The train’s not gonna move after this,” one frustrated straphanger could be heard saying at the scene.
