Exclusive | BTK killer Dennis Raders daughter hit with domestic violence accusation, loses custody of kids after claiming they had been shot

Kerri Rawson, daughter of BTK serial killer Dennis Rader, is one of America’s most recognizable advocates for abuse victims, with a bestselling book and frequent appearances on TV.However, she has now been hit with a domestic violence injunction herself, The Post can exclusively reveal.A Florida petition for a restraining order filed by her ex-husband, Darian Rawson, 48, alleged a series of terrifying incidents which left him fearing for the safety of both himself and their children, with him writing Kerri, also 48, had “expressed statements multiple times that her kids are in immediate danger.”As a result of the petition, which was granted by a judge, Rawson lost custody of her two teenagers, for repeatedly warning they were going to be murdered.The petition alleges that on Jan.5, 2025, Kerri had summoned Darian to a police station in Altamonte Springs close to where she lived, where she allegedly told him “she had psychic powers and had detected that the kids were in immediate danger and would be murdered that morning.”It came less than two years after the couple had divorced following almost 20 years of marriage.The filing further claims Kerri warned police “people were coming to harm them” and then later placed a frantic 911 call reporting “shots had been fired and three people were dead” — referring to her children and their father — despite officers who responded to the call finding everyone safe.“Rawson advised dispatch that there were approximately three to four active shooters at the apartments and three people down,” the police report stated.“Police were able to locate Kerri at [Orlando International] airport and transported her to a local hospital where she voluntarily admitted herself into a hospital in Orange County.”The petition says she was then taken into custody under Florida’s Baker Act for a mental health evaluation.An incident report obtained by The Post showed police described Kerri as “an individual known to ...
