Torrent of water floods the streets of Los Angeles again as another sinkhole opens up

Another water main break has wreaked havoc in Los Angeles, sending floods down city streets for the fourth time in two weeks.A sinkhole opened up in the Fairfax District overnight Tuesday at the intersection of First Street and Detroit Avenue.Shocking video shows the torrent flooding the street and causing the hole to open up in the road.The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power said a break occurred in an eight-inch line, with crews shutting down First street between La Brea Avenue and Detroit so workers could fix it.The water was shut off so crews could set about repairing the line.LADWP said, besides the drivers having to find alternative paths, one customer was affected.By Tuesday afternoon the repairs were completed and service was restored.
