Carlos Alcaraz has changed his hair yet again before the U.S.Open.Alcaraz posted selfies with cornrows this week, the newest in the wide variety of hairstyles the seven-time Grand Slam champion has shown off throughout his career.In the past, Alcaraz has buzzed his hair, bleached it and also grown it out.

His buzz was the result of his brother messing up his haircut, as Alcaraz explained at the year’s final grand slam in 2025.He was seen with long hair at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final just a couple of weeks ago as he cheered on his native Spain, the eventual champions over Argentina.Now, he’s used that long hair to create his most unique style to date.Yet, it’s not the only new addition that the tennis star has shown off in his life recently.Last week, photos were released of Alcaraz on a boat in Italy with a woman who appeared to be Spanish entrepreneur and digital marketing professional Claudia Canals.Canals later posted on Instagram in a similar bikini, all but confirming the two Spaniards went on vacation together.Fans online had mixed reactions to Alcaraz’s newest look.Whatever they might think of the hairstyle, the biggest story around the Spanish star will be whether he can defend his title at the U.S.

Open starting Aug.30 after a season of ups and downs.Alcaraz kicked off the Slam season with his first career Australian Open title, but he has not appeared in a tournament since April due to tendon inflammation in his dominant right wrist.
