Legendary Dodgers pitcher to be enshrined in Hollywood Walk of Fame

Former Los Angeles Dodgers World Series-winning pitcher Orel Hershiser is about to be enshrined in Hollywood forever.On Thursday, it was announced that Hershiser would be honored by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and would be presented with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the category of Sports Entertainment.Hershiser’s ceremony is scheduled to take place on August 13, at 11:30 AM at 6755 Hollywood Boulevard.Bill Shaikin of the LA Times reported that Clayton Kershaw, Dave Roberts, Joe Davis and Jaime Jarrin are expected to be guest speakers at the event.California's top news, sports and entertainment delivered to your inbox every day.
