Greg Olsen may have a path back to an “A” booth.With Tony Romo’s future uncertain at CBS following his OWI arrest that led to him being placed on leave “until further notice,” Olsen, a Fox commentator, could be a potential replacement, according to Puck.JJ Watt, who is filling Romo’s spot in the CBS “A” booth alongside Jim Nantz, is reportedly also considered a potential replacement should the ex-Dallas quarterback and CBS part ways.There’s still a long ways to go before CBS may have to fill Romo’s position, but The Athletic reported recently how the 46-year-old may face an uphill battle to return to his previous position.Andrew Marchand wrote that Romo will “have to make quite a case to get his top job back.”Romo has a scheduled Sept.21 court date in Wisconsin stemming from his July arrest, and Marchand reported that CBS is already planning to withholding him from its upcoming seminar for on-air talent, the Week 1 Packers-Viking clash on Sept.
