The New York Mets are a complete disaster and have been for the better part of the past few years.Sure, they made it to the National League Championship two years ago, but it was a huge hot streak that propelled them there.
Then they fell off a cliff last year and have not been able to climb back up.It hasn't been for a lack of moves or anything; it just seems like the team can't click.

McLean is 7-7 with a 3.29 ERA and a 1.12 WHIP.His 148 strikeouts also rank ninth in baseball, putting him at top-20 for ERA, strikeouts, and WHIP.
He has been great on the road this season, with a 2.29 ERA as a visiting pitcher.July was his best month of the season with five quality starts and no more than two earned runs allowed in any of the outings.
