Surveillance video shows heroes firing back at Idaho In-N-Out shooter Chad Williams: Saving lives

Heart-pounding surveillance footage shows three heroic civilians firing back at Idaho In-N-Out gunman Chad Williams – helping to stop the mass shooter from carrying out more carnage.Williams, 24, was confronted by an ex-cop, an off-duty state trooper and an armed good Samaritan at different points during the rampage that left three dead and seven wounded, according to chilling video released by the Twin Falls Police Department Friday. The footage begins with Williams pulling up in a white Honda Civic to the trendy eatery’s drive-thru window, where he swiftly pulls out a gun and shoots In-N-Out employee Ashley Garibay, who later died from her injuries.Williams’ car then creeps forward a few feet before he emerges with a black handgun and walks toward the drive-thru’s second window. There, he fatally shoots the second victim, 59-year-old Christopher Claunch, who was inside another car, according to the video’s narrator.That’s when former Twin Falls and Idaho State Police Officer Austin “AJ” Scott starts running toward the gunman, the pulse-racing video shows. Williams points his gun at Scott and opens fire, striking the ex-cop in the rampage — which cops have yet to release a motive for.A wounded Scott pulls out his own handgun while then preparing to confront Williams in a different area of the parking lot.But “due to [Scott’s] severe injury and blood loss, he is pulled back into his vehicle before going to the hospital,” the narrator explains. The clip shows another individual grabbing Scott by his shirt and dragging him toward one of at least five cars in line for the drive-thru. Scott’s father has since written on Facebook that his son was “critically injured” and now faces “a long road of surgeries, recovery and rehab.” The terrifying surveillance video eventually pans to show Williams peering back into the restaurant’s payment window, where he fires another shot at employees who were inside rendering aid to Garibay, 23....
