Good luck catching up to Jalen Hurts this season.The Eagles’ star quarterback is drawing rave reviews from teammates and coaches alike for his perceived speed increase entering camp after taking a step back in 2025 from his Super Bowl-winning campaign the year prior.“I don’t know what it is but when I’m watching and I’m running [after him], it’s like a movie, it feels like I’m going slow,” Pro Bowl DT Jalen Carter said, according to ESPN.“He be moving man, he’s been working hard and he’s the one, for sure.”There’s no tackling during training camp, but defensive coordinator Vic Fangio has no doubt that Hurts showed up more nimble this year: “There’s always that debate whether you had him or not [for a sack] and I think there’s been a few times where our guys think they had him and they really didn’t,” he said, per ESPN.Hurts, who is entering year four of a five-year, $255 million contract, has been one of the best rushing quarterbacks in the league during his career.
