Last season, it was fairly easy to make an argument that the best division in the NFL was the NFC North.All of the teams in that division were able to win nine games, but the Vikings and the Lions missed the postseason.
Will the Lions find a way back into the playoffs this year, or will it be another down year?I was pretty high on the Lions going into the season last year.I didn’t expect them to take a step back, and for the first portion of the season, I think I was correct.
They lost Ben Johnson to the Bears, but I still thought the team would be good with all of their weapons and their defense.The Packers beat them to start the season, and their only other loss in the first seven weeks was to the Chiefs.

One change that should be interesting is that they sent away David Montgomery to the Texans.They replaced him with Isiah Pacheco, who is not quite the bruiser that Montgomery was.
