Schools Chancellor Kamar Samuels’ Department of Education can’t teach the kids, but still hopes to snow everyone ese.Just a week after the release of test scores showed that more than half of city 3rd- to 5th-graders can’t pass state reading tests, the DOE dared claim that 96% of city families are satisfied with their children’s education.The DOE’s pseudo-scientific School Survey — some principals dangle pizza parties to entice students and families to complete the online poll — touted more than 870,000 students, families and educators expressing “strong support” for embattled Chancellor Samuels.Hah!
