In the new movie, viewers catch up with all of Andy’s beloved toys, now living with Bonnie (Scarlett Spears).Jessie (Joan Cusack) is running things in Bonnie’s room since Woody (Tom Hanks) left at the end of “Toy Story 4,” but Woody is back for this movie, as is Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen).
In school, Bonnie is having trouble making friends, and much to the toys’ dismay, her parents buy her a Lilypad (Greta Lee), a tablet that’s all the rage with kids her age.Lily quickly becomes Bonnie’s favorite toy (and the only one she shows interest in), changing the hierarchy of Bonnie’s room and leaving Jessie to wonder if playtime will ever be the same again.
Along the way, Jessie meets a handful of new toys with built-in tech, including Conan O’Brien’s hilarious Mr.Smartypants.
