Comedian Leanne Morgan calls out Hollywood for living in a 'bubble' and misjudging what audiences want to see

Comedian Leanne Morgan is calling out Hollywood for living in a "bubble."During a recent appearance on "The Women of Joy Show" podcast, the 60-year-old actress discussed the idea that Christian women don't consume media, with host, Maegan Waldrep Schwindling, saying they want "quality" content, but without "women in their panties shooting bows and arrows and all the things like it.""Honest to goodness, I think in the secular world, I think people, no, I think a lot of people don't want to see all that," she said."I think a lot of people don't want to see all that, and I think they're in a bubble out there, and they think people want to see that, but they're not in the middle of the United States."She went on to give an example from when she was filming a movie with Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell, in which she played a Southern mother of four, who in the script was meant to curse in front of her children.Morgan called out Hollywood for being in their own "bubble." In that case, the director, Nick Stoller, told her, "You know better than I do, Leanne, and you do what you think is best.""So I think they think in their minds, 'Oh, everybody's talking like this, everybody wants this,' but I don't think the majority of people do," she said.
