South Carolina police officer killed, another wounded in gunfight with suspect who had extensive record

A gunfight between a man with an extensive arrest record and two police officers in Columbia, South Carolina, left one officer dead and another wounded on Saturday morning.The two officers responded to a domestic dispute call just after 9:30 a.m.at a residence where a woman said a man she had a restraining order against was in her home destroying property.By the time the officers arrived, he had left the scene, but they found him about an hour later and a "gunfight" ensued.MARINE VETERAN LAS VEGAS POLICE OFFICER KILLED IN SHOOTING; ARMED SUSPECT ALSO DEADOfficer Christopher DeLong, 29, was killed in a gunfight with a suspect on Saturday.
