Watch Sebastian Ingrosso's Daughter Sing 'Don't You Worry Child' Live at Swedish House Mafia Homecoming Show

Sebastian Ingrosso brought his daughter Melina onstage to sing the opening verses of Swedish House Mafia‘s ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ during the group’s homecoming show at Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg.Melina sang through the first two verses before closing on the line “my father said,” a moment originally sung by John Martin on Swedish House Mafia’s original 2012 recording.
She and her father embraced as the song’s familiar synths kicked in, and the crowd erupted around them.Ingrosso later posted a number of photos from the night on social media.
“Like father, like daughter,” he wrote.“Proud doesn’t even begin to describe it.” The concert on August 29 drew over 65,972 fans, setting a Nordic attendance record for electronic music, according to a statement from Live Nation.
It stands as Swedish House Mafia’s “biggest concert ever on Swedish soil.” The trio’s last stadium performance in Sweden came in 2019, when they played Stockholm’s Tele2 Arena as part of the ‘Save the World’ reunion tour. The Ullevi date came together after an earlier show in the run was postponed due to severe thunderstorms.
Swedish House Mafia made up for it with a free outdoor set on Avenyn in Gothenburg before the rescheduled Ullevi concert went ahead the same day.You can watch a clip of Melina’s performance below.
