Teen mom killed alongside pal twice sought orders of protection against ex now charged with their slayings

A teenage mom allegedly murdered by her ex-boyfriend in a double homicide had twice tried to get orders of protection against him — repeatedly warning that she was “terrified” he was “going to kill” her.Nalyn Reeves, 19, was gunned down alongside fellow mom Undrea Willis, 25, in a Montgomery, Ala.home on Monday, allegedly by Tarus Giles, the father of Reeve’s 10-month-old child, according to Al.comThe killer broke in through a living room window when the women locked the front door — then shot them both in front of their kids, police said.

Both moms were declared dead at the scene.In the year before her death, Reeves had twice tried to get protection from Giles, who was out on bond on a third-degree burglary charge when he allegedly murdered both women.“I am terrified of Tarus,” Reeves wrote in a filing just months before she was killed.“I am afraid that he is eventually going to kill me or, worse, hurt my child.”Reeves first sought a protection-from-abuse order in September last year, accusing Giles of beating her and threatening her life when she was still pregnant with his child.“Tarus physically beat me from 9 a.m.–11 a.m., blacked my eye, gave me knots, busted my nose,” she said in the filing, AL.com reported.“Tarus has been threatening my family and I,” she said.
