Mass stabbing sparks horror at California park as multiple people rushed to hospital, one critical

Three people were wounded in a bloody mass stabbing near a Salinas park Sunday evening, with one victim suffering critical injuries, authorities said.Police rushed to the area near the 700 block of East Street around 5:17 p.m.after receiving a report that a man had been stabbed, per KSBW.When officers arrived, they discovered multiple victims suffering from serious stab wounds, according to the Salinas Police Department.A fourth victim, who was also injured in the attack, later made their own way to the emergency department at Natividad Medical Center at about 5:23 p.m., police said.One of the victims was initially listed in critical condition, while the others also suffered significant injuries.Despite the severity of the attack, police said all three victims are expected to survive.
