Armed trio attacks 3, steals $12K in Naruto cards during heinous NYC home invasion: cops, sources

An armed trio attacked three people before making off with $12,000 worth of Naruto cards in a brutal Queens home invasion this week, cops and sources said. The unidentified suspects forced their way through a balcony door to the home at 101st Street and 101st Avenue in Ozone Park around 4:10 a.m.Wednesday, police said. They began snatching the popular Japanese manga cards when a 30-year-old man tried to stop them in their tracks, according to authorities and law enforcement sources. One of the crooks then turned on the man, whacking him in the face with a weapon, police said. The violent suspects also allegedly threw two women, 60 and 33, to the ground – before stealing the older woman’s cell phone, authorities said. As the intruders made their way toward the exit, one of them flashed a gun and let off a single round toward the victims – but no one was hit, cops said. They fled with about 60 Naruto cards in tow, worth around $12,000, the sources said. Morning Report delivers the latest news, videos, photos and more.
