Patriots expected to put A.J. Brown on IR in early season injury crusher
The Patriots will be without A.J.Brown for a while.The star receiver went down with a high ankle sprain in the 13-10 season-opening loss to the Seahawks, and it is expected that Brown will be placed in injured reserve.He would be out a minimum of four games as a result, putting him out through at least Week 5 as he recovers from the injury.Expect the Patriots to roll out receivers Romeo Doubs, Mack Hollins, and one of Kyle Williams or Demario Douglas as the third receiver.
