Earthquake rocks Bay Area overnight

An earthquake struck in Contra Costa County early Saturday morning.The 3.4-magnitude quake hit about 5.5 miles southwest of Brentwood around 12:30 a.m., according to the US Geological Survey.The tremor was recorded about 11 miles deep.The biggest news, opinion and culture shaping California right now.
