Jim Harbaugh provides shocking injury update on Ladd McConkey

After what was a disappointing offensive performance against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, it’s only getting worse for the Los Angeles Chargers.During their 26-14 loss, Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey took a hit to the chest area that resulted in him not returning for the rest of the game.On Monday, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter said that per Jim Harbaugh, McConkey is considered day-to-day as he’s dealing with a rib injury.“Chargers say they want to see how McConkey feels this week before determining his availability Sunday,” Schefter wrote on an X post.NFL insider Ian Rapoport of NFL Network also added that McConkey is having tests done on Monday and added that he could be out during their Week 2 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. The potential loss of McConkey comes after the Chargers offense — which was expected to take a major leap this season, following the acquisition of offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel — put on a display they’d probably like to forget.
