His friends became concerned about the man after not hearing from him and reported him missing.Search and rescue teams began frantically looking around 2pm Friday.But the San Jose climber managed to drag himself into Horse Camp Cabin, several miles down the mountain.The descent is rigorous and required the man to climb down several thousand feet over rocky terrain.A hiker found him at the cabin and told rescuers.
