They’re running it down your throat.“Gronkowski will be in New York on Oct.5 as one of the honorees at The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis’ 41st Annual Great Sports Legends dinner. The numbers amplified what Gronkowski was seeing.The Giants out-rushed Dallas 165-69, had 11 rushing first downs to the Cowboys’ four and kept possession for 36:40, more than a 13-minute differential.Cam Skattebo bulled his way to 81 yards on 18 carries and Jaxson Dart creased the Cowboys for 54 yards on 11 runs in addition to his 230 yards passing and three touchdowns.“Cam Skattebo and Jaxson Dart, they’re bringing a new mentality to New York and the Giants,” Gronkowski told The Post.

“And you’ve got to appreciate that, because it’s a mentality where if they don’t win, they’re going to be criticized and scrutinized big time, and they’re taking it on.“You’ve got to love a player and a team that takes on all the noise and then they go out on the football field and they punch the Dallas Cowboys in the face.You’ve got to respect that.”Combined with the Jets’ dominating 23-10 victory over the Titans, the two locals won together in Week 1 for the first time since 2009“I was very impressed.

It’s a start the New York teams haven’t seen in a while.Both of them starting 1-0 and both of them having convincing wins,” Gronkowski said....
