The Giants are in the hands of a new generation.Carolyn Tisch Blodgett said the transfer of ownership shares from her uncle Steve Tisch and his siblings Laurie and Jonathan into a trust for their children is “done.”Tisch Blodgett, already the owner of Gotham FC, called the move a “natural next step” for her while speaking onstage at the Front Office Sports Asset Class event in New York.The move puts 45% of the team in the hands of a third generation of Tisches.In September 2025, the Tisch and Mara families sold 5% of each of their Giants holdings to the Koch family at a $10 billion valuation.Forbes values the franchise at $12 billion, third-highest in the league behind the rival Cowboys ($17 billion) and Rams ($13.5 billion).The latest transfer of shares comes on the heels of Steve Tisch’s numerous mentions in the Epstein files, tying him to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, which spurred the 77-year-old and his siblings to pass on ownership stakes.

Tisch Blodgett declined to comment on that situation.Bob Tisch, the late billionaire co-CEO of the Loews Corporation, bought a 50% stake in the team in 1991, sharing ownership with Wellington Mara.The Tisch patriarch died in 2005, leaving his half of the team in the hands of Steve, Laurie and Jonathan — all of whom still hold front office jobs with the team.Steve Tisch remains the franchise’s executive vice president and chairman while his brother Jonathan is a treasure and, along with sister Laurie, sits on the board of directors, though they no longer have direct ownership.Co-owner John Mara, 71, remains a public face of the team despite undergoing cancer treatment.Tisch Blodgett said Tuesday she has been involved with the team for “a number of years in international expansion, in fan development, in the in-game.”“If any of you were at the game on Sunday or you watched on TV, the in-game experience looks really different than it has in the last few years,” she said, noting that she led the...
