After a triumphant return to the shores of Orange County last year, Kaskade once again provided a successful day of fun in the sun with his annual Sun Soaked Festival.The one-day event was held on the sands of Huntington State Beach and provided revelers with nine hours of programming and beachside activities all just steps away from the water.
Promoted by Insomniac Events, the festival included a volleyball court, ferris wheel, dedicated VIP areas, photo ops, and a variety of food and drink options.Throughout the day, event attendees were treated to an eclectic mix of house music provided by an idillyic roster of talented acts.
Helping set the tone early in the afternoon were artists like ESSE, Lavern, ME N Ü, and D.O.D.Marking the halfway point of the festivities was one of two Kaskade perfomances.
The first was a surprise 360 degree performance set within the crowd as he went back to back with BUNT.After that high-energy b2b, Matroda kept the energy going as he played hits like ‘Forget It’ and ‘Can’t Fight The Feeling’ to an already excited crowd.
Kaskade’s second performance of the night was his much anticipated headlining set.Mixing in classic tracks with new bangers, Kaskade’s signature sound blasted through the beach as fireworks rained across the sky.

In the end, Sun Soaked’s second time gracing the Huntington Beach coastline came up fruitful.With the help of Insomniac, the event felt more like a two or three day festival rather than a one off.
