Ole Miss gets revenge on Lane Kiffin in big win over LSU on night of vulgar chants, high stakes

No matter the result, Lane Kiffin’s return to Ole Miss was bound to be must-see TV.Saturday night’s bout in Oxford, Miss.had been circled and starred on the calendars of the college football world since December, when Kiffin bailed on the Rebels right before the College Football Playoff and fled for LSU, a program with a better pedigree — and a better contract.And with all eyes at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, both teams delivered an exciting rivalry battle as Ole Miss emerging victorious with a 32-24 victory that has a chance to being dubbed the game of the year anyway, regardless of the pregame drama, vulgar chants and past bad blood between the two teams.It didn’t look like it was going to be a game of the year contender in the first half as Kiffin’s squad was in a 24-7 hole.
