IDF kills Hamas platoon commander, additional terrorist in Gaza

(Sept.26, 2026 / JNS) The Israel Defense Forces on Friday targeted and killed Ibrahim Fawzi Ismail Mohsen, a platoon commander in Hamas’s Nukhba Force in Gaza’s Nuseirat area, as well as an additional terrorist in the Khan Yunis area, the IDF said.The second terrorist was named Mohammed Kamel Suleiman Mohsen, the military said.The two men were targeted because they had been involved in attacks on IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians and operated to restore the terrorist organization’s capabilities, in systematic violation of the ceasefire, the army said.Earlier on Friday, the IDF said that it killed two other Hamas terrorists who operated against Israeli soldiers, one of whom infiltrated Israel during the Oct.
