Cam Schlittler, Ben Rice lead Yankees to emphatic Game 1 win over Red Sox

He went 6 1/3, as manager Aaron Boone let Schlittler go to 117 pitches.Rice drove in six runs — hitting a grand slam in the eighth after a solo homer in the fifth along with an RBI single in the seventh — as he went 4-for-5.Paul Blackburn (1 2/3 innings) and John Schreiber (one inning) kept the Red Sox at bay after Schlittler exited.The Yankees can close out the series with a win on Wednesday night....
