Lindsay Clancy holdout jurors attorneys unveil plans to file complaint against Kevin Reddington
Attorneys for the lone holdout juror at Lindsay Clancy’s triple murder trial revealed their plans to file a bar complaint against the killer mom’s lawyer.Lawyers for Michael Desronvil — the sole juror who wanted to send the mom to prison for killing her three kids, Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months — said they plan to ask the bar to probe Clancy’s attorney, Kevin Reddington, for allegedly singling out their client.Reddington, 75, asked a judge to investigate Desronvil for potential misconduct, including determining whether he lied on his juror questionnaire and whether he used his cell phone during deliberations.Tyler Cox, one of Desronvil’s lawyers, told Fox News host Sean Hannity, “We are going to file a bar complaint.”“[Reddington] said that all he’s done is file a motion.Well, even if you take that as true, which it obviously isn’t, the motion that he filed was unprecedented,” Cox said.
“You don’t attack jurors this way, you don’t single them out.”During a hearing Tuesday for Clancy, an exasperated Reddington denied wrongdoing in filing the motion about Desronvil or making comments about him to the media.“I’m tired of hearing about me persecuting people,” he said in court.On Monday, prosecutors asked Judge William Sullivan to implement a gag order after Reddington’s public comments about the jury and Desronvil.The motion is set to be argued at Clancy’s next hearing on Nov.
