Thaddeus “Teddy” Richards’ wife made a frantic phone call to cops earlier this summer and accused the U.S.men’s national hockey team and Florida Panthers equipment manager of violently beating her up, police audio released to the California Post on Thursday revealed.The call was placed by Richards’ spouse at around 12 a.m.

“He threw my phone away.I’m just afraid he’s going to wake up the kids.”The woman further explained that the altercation had all started after she believed Richards was “flirting” with one of her sister’s friends at the party.“She gave him a business card,” the woman said, alleging that Richards had cheated on her just a few months prior.
“So I asked, why did he take the business card? And he started saying that I suck.That he wants a divorce or whatever.“I poured myself a cup of water and I will admit that I threw the water on him.
