Exclusive | A San Francisco home listed for $7.9M just sold for a whopping $15M

Forget a bidding war. This was a blowout.A 112-year-old house on the lip of San Francisco’s Presidio has traded for $15 million, a jaw-dropping $7 million more than its sellers asked. The four-bedroom at 2 Sixth Ave.
came to market in late September with a $7.999 million price tag. It closed Oct.7 at an 87.5% premium, about two weeks after its debut. That pencils out to roughly $3,340 a square foot, about triple the $1,108 a typical San Francisco house fetched in August.“We received 9 strong offers,” listing agent Maureen Terris of Compass told The Post.

The kitchen has a Wolf range set into a brick wall, timber beams overhead and a butler’s pantry, with doors leading to a patio and the back garden.Upstairs are four bedrooms and a covered porch.
The primary suite swallowed a former bedroom to create a dressing room lined with closets. There are four bathrooms, two of them half baths. Then comes the real San Francisco flex.A...
