The Issue: The former Cornell University student who alleges she was raped by seven frat brothers in 2024.I disagree with Heather Mac Donald’s vicious characterization of Jane Doe (“Campus Farce,” PostOpinion, Oct.8).She didn’t play the assault card.

I believe she was assaulted and raped by several men who texted others to join in on the assault.The article shifts attention away from the actual events and toward judging the character of the person who suffered the harm.According to Mac Donald, “the only good news to come out of this” is that “Jane Doe’s peers viewed her as a ‘slut.’ ”This is exactly why so many campus rapes go unreported.Barbara StankusPearl RiverRegardless of whether the Cornell students are guilty, college campuses are places of depravity and left-wing ideology.Administrations ignore underage drinking, drug use and sexual misconduct while continually increasing tuition.
