Cam Ward says hes not a loser after Titans lose fifth straight to start season

Cam Ward is feeling the Nashville heat after the Titans’ latest loss dropped them to 0-5.The Titans failed to score a single touchdown and Ward completed 23 passes for 170 yards while being sacked four times, which led to a surprising blunt question to the quarterback during his postgame press conference. Ward was asked directly if he’s gotten used to losing. “No, I’m not a loser,” the QB shot back.“The record may say that we are that rigt now, but at the end of the day you have to go through some stuff to get wins.

We attack this each and every day, but for that, no.If you’re able to look at everybody in our locker room’s track record, we all won games at a high level.

We’re looking forward to doing that in the long run.”While Ward tried to put a positive spin on his answer, the Titans have been in free fall this season. Ward has struggled thus far in 2026, completing 98 passes for 896 yards through five games with as many passing touchdowns (three) as interceptions. And while Ward may be having a tough time, it doesn’t appear that the Titans are planning on making a change at starter. Head coach Robert Saleh reaffirmed his commitment to the 2025 No.1 overall pick as the Titans’ starting quarterback. “Cam’s our starting quarterback,” Saleh said.

“We’re going to give him every opportunity to be successful this year, and we’re going to continue working with him, grinding with him and trying to help him get better.”The Titans offense is one of the worst in the NFL, having posted just 246.4 total yards per game, which is good for last in the league. Their 11.6 points per game is also worst in the NFL....
