The winless Chargers signed veteran quarterback Jake Browning to their roster on Tuesday.Browning is in his fourth season, the first three of which were spent as Joe Burrow’s backup with the Bengals.He signed with the Buccaneers this past offseason but never competed for them.Now he’ll be behind Justin Herbert for an 0-5 Chargers team that has disappointed in all facets this season.Browning’s wife, Stephanie Niles Browning, has managed to become one of the NFL’s most prominent WAGs, despite her husband not being a starter.
