Georgia and Chris Brown, both 30, from southeast London, booked a four-day trip to Morocco with their infant son, Harry.Their elder boy, two-year-old George, was left in the care of his grandmother.The parents say the trip was a chance to enjoy “one-on-one time” with Harry, an opportunity they felt wouldn’t be possible with a toddler in tow.“We wanted to have that one-on-one time with Harry,” Georgia told What’s The Jam.

“George’s first holiday was all about him, and we wanted that same experience with Harry.”The couple, who previously took George to Sorrento, Italy, when he was a baby, said it was important to give Harry an equal experience.Chris, a sales executive, surprised Georgia, a business consultant, with the trip for her birthday.

“It was a surprise that George wasn’t coming,” she recalled.“When he gave me the ticket and I saw one child, I thought ‘Where’s the other one?’ But when he explained, I thought it was quite sweet.”“Dads can struggle to bond at the beginning,” she explained.

“He’s the default parent to George because I’m breastfeeding Harry.Chris doesn’t get to spend that much time with Harry because he’s back at work so it gave him that time as well.” So the couple went to Morocco with their youngest and left their oldest at home with grandma.

However, when Georgia shared a clip of their trip on TikTok, she was met with a flood of criticism.Trolls accused the couple of being “bad parents,” suggesting their decision would emotionally scar their toddler.
