Great memories for the franchise.One of the best seasons in history of franchise.”Portnoy added the hashtag, “bingbong,” referring to the popular rallying cry among Knicks fans.Portnoy reshared The Post’s back page, which featured an image of Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton mimicking Reggie Miller’s choke gesture, after Indiana rallied to beat the Knicks 138-135 in overtime to steal Game 1 on Wednesday night.Haliburton hit a long jumper that bounced high off the back of the rim and in to tie the game at 125-125 as time expired in regulation, and Indiana held off the Knicks in overtime.

The two-time All-Star had 14 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds for the Pacers in Game 2.Pacers forward Pascal Siakim was the hero of the night with a playoff career-high 39 points.“This series has a ton to go, but I can’t help but wonder if Knicks fans got ahead of themselves with 2nd round victory,” Portnoy wrote on Thursday, referring to the Knicks eliminating the Celtics in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
