New York Democratic Party Chairman Jay Jacobs is a man among men.He is not caving to those big smiling fools, Gov.

Hochul and Zohran Mamdani (“Chairman taking a stand for moderates,” Sept.20).He is not going along to get along.

Jacobs knows pro-criminal candidates will only worsen crime and safety in New York City.Yes — it can get worse.New York City has become a haven for doing whatever you want, to whomever you want, whenever you want without consequences.Michael CastagnaBrooklynIf the Democratic Party wants to survive, it must divest itself of the socialist element.
