MLB World Series odds shift ahead of divisional matchups

There’s a new World Series favorite heading into the divisional round.But it’s also a familiar one.

The Dodgers (+320), who were favorites to repeat nearly all season long before a late-season dip, re-took favorite status after sweeping the Reds in two games during their wild-card match up.After surviving the first round of the postseason, the Dodgers take over from the Phillies (+475), who were a brief World Series favorite after earning a wild-card round bye.With a series win over the rival Red Sox, the Yankees (+500) now have the best World Series odds of any team in the American League.But just barely.
