The buyers, a Long Island couple, were represented by ReMax Elite’s Kerry DeBellis. The disgraced stockbroker was famously portrayed by Leonardo DiCaprio in the film “Wolf of Wall Street,” a Scorsese-directed hit that chronicled Belfort’s rise and fall through the 1990s. The height of Belfort’s success – and criminal activity – took place at the sprawling Glen Head property. It’s the real-life setting of many of the film’s most memorable scenes, drawn from Belfort’s own memories.
