The prince of demands.Prince Andrew has reportedly agreed to move out of Royal Lodge in Windsor after giving up his royal title, the Duke of York — but he wants two homes in return.
According to The Sun, Andrew, 65, demanded he get to move to Frogmore Cottage, where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle used to live before they were evicted in June 2023.Andrew’s proposed deal also involves his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, relocating to Adelaide Cottage, which Prince William and Kate Middleton are about to move out of with their three children.“Frogmore Cottage is too small for both and Adelaide Cottage is around the corner so they will see each other whenever they want,” a source told The Sun about the former couple.“Both have space for their daughters Eugenie and Beatrice and their families to visit,” the insider added.Andrew and Ferguson’s friend also told the outlet, “No one is really sure how it’s going to go down at the Palace yet.”“Andy is willing to leave, but these are his demands,” the friend claimed.The Post has reached out to Buckingham Palace and Ferguson’s rep for comment.Andrew has been living at the $38 million, 31-bedroom Royal Lodge since 2003.He’s had a tenancy agreement to live there through 2078. Ferguson has resided at Royal Lodge since 2008 despite the pair getting divorced.Frogmore Cottage was Harry and Meghan’s royal residence, given to them by the late Queen Elizabeth.
