Taylor Sheridan makes shocking career move ahead of Yellowstone spinoffs: report

He’s saddling up and riding away. “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan is leaving Paramount for NBCUniversal, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The Post reached out to reps for Paramount and NBCUniversal for comment. Sheridan, 55, is Paramount’s crown jewel, and he’s one of the hottest commodities on the current TV landscape. In addition to creating “Yellowstone” – and making waves for a rumored feud with star Kevin Costner – he also presides over several other star-studded Paramount shows. He had “Yellowstone” spinoffs “1923” starring Sam Elliott, “1883,” starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, “Tulsa King” starring Sylvester Stallone,” “Mayor of Kingstown” starring Jeremy Renner, “Special Ops: Lioness” starring Zoe Saldana, and “Landman” starring Billy Bob Thornton.Paramount still owns the work that Sheridan created for them, so shows such as “Tulsa King” and “Mayor of Kingstown” will not migrate over to NBC, and neither will future shows in the “Yellowstone” world such as the rumored “6666” ranch spinoff.
