Kate Middleton stuns in her biggest tiara yet at Windsor banquet

Kate Middleton is holding her head up high.The Princess of Wales, 43, sported the biggest tiara she’s worn to date when the royals attended a glamorous event at Windsor Castle on Wednesday in honor of German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier’s state visit to the U.K.Princess Kate was joined by her husband Prince William, King Charles and Queen Camilla.Middleton sported Queen Victoria’s Oriental Circlet Tiara for the first time, a blue Jenny Packham dress and a pair of the late Queen Elizabeth’s earrings.She accessorized with the Royal Family Order and the Royal Victorian Order sash and star and a black clutch.
The gigantic headpiece is the fifth one Princess Kate has ever worn.According to Garrard, in 1853, Queen Victoria’s husband, Prince Albert, had the tiara crafted for her.The exquisite accessory features 2,600 diamonds and was also worn by the Queen Mother and Queen Elizabeth.Meanwhile, Middleton first wore a tiara during her 2011 wedding to Prince William, 43.For her walk down the aisle, the royal donned the Cartier Halo Tiara.
In July, Princess Kate wore Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot Tiara during the French state visit.Then, in September, Princess Kate re-wore the tiara for President Trump and first lady Melania Trump’s state visit.The princess has also sported the Lotus Flower Tiara and the Strathmore Rose Tiara.Princess Kate’s dazzling accessory comes on the heels of her rocking long, bright blonde locks.Middleton has been wearing her hair lighter than ever before in recent months.Last month, she attended the Royal Variety Performance in London and revealed the reason behind the change.The royal family member told actress Su Pollard what spurred her lighter hair.
